» Feature Writer Harsh Nevatia - To the victor belong the spoils.

It is common knowledge the history is written by the victors, and rearranged to suit their interests. I have discussed the Aryan Invasion Myth in great detail in the reverse aryan invasion.

In this article i have explained how the Vedas were misinterpreted, allegedly with malafide intent.

There is another aspect of history that has been distorted out of shape. This is Alexander's invasion of India. History, written by the victors, has it that Alexander defeated Porus. And against his character of a ruthless victor he spared Porus. The truth is that he lost to Porus and Porus, true to Indian character, spared his life. Those interested in the details can check out The Myth, Romance and Historicity of Alexander and His Influence on India
