Holi, the festival of colors, marks the beginning of spring and is a chance to connect with each other. Find free Holi greeting cards online and select popular messages.

The Hindu festival of Holi, also called Rang Panchami, celebrates the victory of good over evil and marks the beginning of spring. Holi 2009 falls on March 11. Together with Diwali, it may be the most awaited festival in India. Children especially love playing with water and colors even days before the actual festival.

Popular Holi Wishes and E-Greetings

Holi is also the time to connect with loved ones, family members, neighbors, colleagues and friends near and far. Though it is still customary to send out beautifully printed Holi cards, electronic greetings are less time consuming and reach people all over the globe faster. Holi e-greetings can be in the form of a simple email, an electronic postcard or animated flash card, with or without music.

Coming up with fitting and original messages, especially for dozens of cards, can be quite a challenge. Below is a selection of popular Holi messages and where to find creative Holi e-cards online:

  1. The Holigreetings web site offers free cartoon Holi greetings sorted by purpose, for example Family, Love, Friends, Holi Hungama (interactive fun) and others.
  2. The Higreetings web site has a selection of different free e-cards from photo postcards to mythological themes and animated Holi greetings.
